Deliberate in Claude

Your brand’s Deliberate agent team in your own Claude: ask questions answered from your live data, pull the numbers, draft replies and readouts, and file decisions for the team. For businesses with a Deliberate workspace. With Company Brain, Claude asks and reads; drafts, sends and actions come with the Agent Team.

Connect

Each brand has its own address. It ends in your workspace name, the first part of your Deliberate address (yourbrand.deliberatestudio.com). It’s also on your workspace’s Settings › Integrations › Claude.

Claude (claude.ai, the desktop app and Cowork)

  1. Open Customize › Connectors, press Add, then Add custom connector.
  2. Name it after your brand (for example, Deliberate yourbrand), paste your address, and press Add.
  3. Press Connect. Sign in with your Deliberate login and press Approve.

Working on several brands? Add each brand’s own address; Claude keeps them apart. Or add https://mcp.deliberatestudio.com/mcp, which asks which brand when you sign in.

What Claude can do with it

  • Ask the team. ask sends your question to the right agent, which answers from your live data (get_answer collects a long answer).
  • Read. Revenue, spend and MER (get_metrics), ad results (get_ad_performance), P&L (finance_snapshot), subscription economics (unit_economics), order health (get_order_health), stock (get_inventory), support themes and customer voice (cx_themes, voice_of_customer), the research library (query_research, get_research), the marketing calendar, comment-to-DM rules, releases, and what the team has filed (search_context, get_context).
  • Draft. draft_cs_reply and draft_readout return copy into the chat. Nothing is sent.
  • Write, when you ask. File a decision or brief (save_context, update_context), change the marketing calendar (save_calendar_entry) or a comment-to-DM rule (set_comment_keyword), update a release note (update_release).
  • Set up your tools. setup_status lists what your brand still has to connect, with each step; setup_done marks a step done, not used, or for later. You press Connect and approve every sign-in yourself. API keys go only into the Deliberate page, never into the chat.

What each person can do follows their seat in the workspace. Removing someone from the workspace ends their connection.

Company Brain

Ask your store anything, from Claude.

Company Brain (the Brain plan, $249/month) is the read-only tier of Deliberate. It uses the same connector and the same address as the Agent Team.

The Brain plan is billed through the Shopify App Store, with 14 days free. It includes $249 of work; work past that is billed through Shopify for exactly what you use.

In Claude, you can ask the agents questions (ask, get_answer) and pull the numbers: metrics, ad results, P&L, subscription economics, order health, stock, support themes, customer voice, research, the marketing calendar, comment-to-DM rules, releases and setup status. The agents’ scheduled read jobs run: daily metrics, inventory, support themes and research.

You can also save notes for the team (save_context, update_context).

Reads only: nothing is sent or changed in your store or tools. There are no drafts, sends or edits in Company Brain: draft_cs_reply, draft_readout, save_calendar_entry, set_comment_keyword and update_release are off.

Agent Team. $500 a month, with $600 of work included (a 20% bonus); work past that is billed through Shopify for exactly what you use. It adds drafts, sends and actions: everything above, with the agents doing the work.

Your data

Deliberate can’t read your Claude conversations, files or account. It receives only the requests Claude makes through the connector: which tool and what it asks for, so it can answer from your workspace’s data. We keep a record of each request (the tool, when, and the network it came from) and daily counts. Questions and answers are kept only if your workspace turns on conversation logging. What you file is kept until it’s deleted. Each brand’s data stays in its own workspace. The same applies on the Brain plan. Write to hi@deliberatestudio.com and a person will answer within 2 business days.

  1. “A connector with this URL already exists.” Someone in your Claude organization already added it. Connect that one, or for another brand use that brand’s own address.
  2. Sign-in says you don’t have access. Ask an owner or admin of the workspace to invite you, then connect again.
  3. Claude doesn’t use the tools. Open Customize › Connectors and check the connector says Connected. In Claude Code, run /mcp.

Both plans are billed through Shopify. To see charges, change your plan or cancel, open your Shopify admin and go to Apps › Deliberate.
